Vanessa is a senior wealth and financial service management professional with more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services industry. She worked at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) for 17 years, including as Regional COO covering operations from front to back office. She was also Executive Director of RBC Wealth Management Hong Kong, before moving on to operations at asset management companies. She was the COO and RO of Cornerstone Asset Management Ltd (2018-19) and then Executive Director and RO of Genesis Investment Management Limited (2019-23). Vanessa has extensive management experience in operations, compliance, risks, credit, counterparty control, finance, IT, and client services.  Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and Vietnamese, Vanessa holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Governance and Directorship from Baptist University in Hong Kong, and a BA in Public Administration from Murdoch University, Australia.
